"Queen of the Keyboards" is the name by which Jean Martyn has come to be known by her legion of fans both at home and overseas.

Whether tickling the ivories of a concert grand piano, carressing the keys and pedals of a modern electronic organ, or pitting her skills against the temperament of one of the Mighty Wurlitzers on the concert circuit - Jean takes it all in her stride. As to whether she enjoys herself . . . you only need to attend one of her sell-out concerts, and you will be totally spellbound by her vivacious manner, bubbly spirit, and mischievous manner. This does not detract from her music, but rather enhances it as her joie de vivre shines through everything she plays. She also sets aside plenty of time to chat to her fans, sign autographs for her audience, and to catch up on what has been happening in their lives.

Whether you enjoy the classics, or maybe like them a little on the lighter side, enjoy a stomp from the big band era, the gentle tones of a ballad, a Kenneth Alford march, a minuet, or a hit tune from the latest West End production - Jean plays them all, with the same flawless delivery.
